Specifies the energy efficiency labelling requirements for electric clothes washing machines intended for household and similar use. This Standard does not specify safety requirements. Examples of appliances covered by This Standard are top loading non-drum type washers (usually impeller or agitator), front and top loading drum type washers and the washer function of combination washer-dryers.
