Specifies requirements for wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy drawn or cold-finished wire, rod, bar and strip products for general engineering purposes. Chemical composition, mechanical properties and dimensional tolerances are specified. Appendices provide purchasing guidelines, fabrication characteristics and application data, and related composition specifications.
