AS/NZS ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748.3:2022 identically adopts ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-3:2020, which sets out guidelines for the application of AS ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207:2019. It gives guidance on a common framework for software life cycle processes, with well-defined terminology, that can be referenced by the software industry. It also gives guidance on defining, controlling and improving software life cycle processes within an organization or a project.
