AS/NZS ISO 16840.10:2015

Adopts ISO 16840-10:2014 which specifies requirements and test methods to assess the resistance to ignition by smouldering cigarette equivalent heat source, of non-integrated postural support components of a wheelchair. This standard only applies where the postural support components are specifically designed to protect tissue integrity; all other postural support components used in wheelchairs are expected to meet the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 7176.16.
