Amendment 2 modifies the National modifications in Appendix ZZ of AS/NZS 60598.1:2017 which adopts IEC 60598-1:2014, Ed. 8.0, which specifies general requirements for luminaires, incorporating electric light sources, for operation from supply voltages up to 1000 V. The requirements and related tests of this Standard cover: classification, marking, mechanical construction and electrical construction.
