AS/NZS 60335.2.80:2025 deals with the safety of electric fans for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances including direct current (DC) supplied appliances and battery-operated appliances. This Standard supersedes AS/NZS 60335.2.80:2016 on 27 November 2028.
