This International Standard deals with the safety of electric fans for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 volt for single-phase appliances and 480 volt for other appliances. Amendment 1 applies to Cover Page, Foreword, Introduction and Clauses 1, 21, Annex ZZ and the Bibliography.
