This International Standard deals with the safety of electric water-bed heaters and their associated control units, for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 volt. This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.66:2004 two years from the date of publication (i.e. on 26 October 2014). During this period it is anticipated that regulatory authorities will approve water-bed heaters to either standard.
