AS/NZS 60335.2.23:2017 deals with the safety of electric appliances for the care of skin or hair of persons or animals and intended for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V. This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.23:2012 three years from the date of publication (i.e. on 30 June 2020).
