[Pending Revision]Cranes - Safe use, Part 9: Vehicle hoists
Specifies the requirements for the safe use of vehicle hoists as defined in AS 2549. It includes sections on planning, selection, siting, operation and maintenance, inspection and repair. Appendices provide examples of an inspection and testing certificate, and a typical logbook format. It is intended for use with AS 2550.1 and AS/NZS 1418.9 which specifies the design and installation requirements for vehicle hoists.
