Applies to fixed electric water-heaters intended for electrical operation by direct or alternating current at low or medium volltages, including storage water-heaters, wash boilers, instantaneous bath-heaters and similar appliances, but excluding electric steam generators, electric sterilizers and electric urns, and electric water-heaters specially designed for industrial applications.
