This specification applies to cables and flexible cords insulated with vulcanized rubber or rubber-like compounds and intended for use in electrical installations at working voltages not exceeding 6.4/11 kV. It does not apply to cables and flexible cords for which there are separate Australian standard specifications, except as referred to in those specifications.
