[Current]Quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gases in forest projects, Part 1: Afforestation and reforestation
Sets out the key the technical and scientific aspects that underpin an accounting system for carbon sequestered from the atmosphere as a result of afforestation or reforestation. The requirements may be applied to forestry projects undertaken for the purposes of trading or reporting carbon removals within a greenhouse gas abatement program and are sufficiently flexible to be applied to a range of different programs using either Kyoto Protocol-compliant rules or other rules.
