Internal combustion engines — Performance, Part 8: Engines for road vehicle use — Test code, net power

Specifies a method for testing engines designed for automotive vehicles. It applies to the evaluation of their performance with a view to presenting curves of power and specific fuel consumption at full load as a function of engine speed. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO 1585:1992.
