[Pending Revision]Specifies the provision of a national numbering system and the operating, application and registration procedures to be used to obtain issuer identifiacation numbers for identification cards designed for use within Australia. A national numbering system will meet the unique requirements of card issuers that do not issue cards for use in international interchange and will prevent the overloading of the international numbering system.
