The requirements of each system element in the three categories are detailed, such as design, measuring and test equipment, special processes, and inspection and test plans. Included is a comprehensive set of appendices as an aid to the practical application of the Standard. The Standard aligns closely with Canadian Standard CSA Z299.1-4-1985 and also recognizes the applicability of AS 1821-23 under specified conditions.
