AS 2987 and 2988-1987
[Superseded]General conditions of contract for the supply of equipment with or without installation (AS 2987-1987) - Together with - Form of formal instrument of agreement (AS 2988-1987)
Brings the Standard up to date and into reasonable alignment with AS 2124-1986. It is intended to cover contracts for equipment such as power station plant and similar heavy manufacturing and processing equipment, especially where the operation entails a significant period of time between placing of order, delivery of various components, assembly testing and commissioning. A variation of the Standard is being drawn up by the committee to cover supply only situations.
