Sets out methods of sampling asphalt from trucks at the mixing plant, at the paving site, and from the pavement. Also includes sampling of cold mix from stockpile. Not included are methods of sampling asphalt from the pavement (for determination of properties other than density) or methods of sampling at discharge points from asphalt mixing plants. In addition procedures for selection of sampling locations or the number of locations are not specified.
