AS 2815.3 provides regulatory authorities, training providers and trainees with the content of a training course for imparting minimum levels of competency to trainee occupational surface supplied breathing apparatus (SSBA) divers, and assessment procedures. AS 2815.3 is particularly relevant to the training of personnel who will be engaged in underwater SSBA operations as described in the AS/NZS 2299 series on occupational diving operations and offshore operations.
