[Current]Textile fabrics — Burning behaviour, Part 2: Measurement of flame spread properties of vertically oriented specimens
Part 2 describes a procedure in which the textile material is held vertically in a frame. A small flame is used to ignite the specimen and the time is measured for the flame to spread up the specimen past a number of trip threads which record the time interval.
