Textile fabrics — Burning behaviour, Part 1: Determination of ease of ignition of vertically oriented specimens

Part 1 describes a procedure in which the textile material is held vertically in a frame and ignited with a small flame. The duration of flame contact to ignite the specimen is measured. The mean of a number of measurements is made.
