Ambient air — Determination of carbon monoxide — Direct-reading instrumental method

Sets out a method for the determination of carbon monoxide in ambient air to a concentration of 600 mg/m(sup)3 using a direct-reading instrument. The requirements for direct-reading instruments specified in the Standard were derived from USEPA Air Regulations Pollution Control Guide, Part 53 Ambient Air Monitoring Reference and Equivalent Methods, Section 8183 Sub-part B-Procedures for Testing Performance Characteristics of Automated Methods.
