Sets out requirements for occupational underwater diving operations using compressed air as the breathing medium. Includes requirements for personnel, diving procedures, equipment, compression chambers and compressed air supply. Also gives details on medical standards, medical examinations and reports, decompression tables, therapeutic recompression treatment, diver qualifications, employer and diver records, hand and lifeline signals and diving operations manuals. The Standard is not intended for application to recreational diving, or diving beyond 50 m.
