AS 2214-1978 specify the pre-examination qualifications and the examination required for the granting of certificates for welding supervisors engaged in the supervision of arc welding and associated processes, including gouging and flame cutting, intended to form part of steel structures constructed in accordance with AS 1554, SAA Code for Welding in Building, to designs in accordance with AS 1250, SAA Steel Structures Code, and where appropriate, to form part of other welded structures.
