Hot mix asphalt — A guide to good practice

Provides recommendations for the manufacture and supply of hot mix asphalt for use in pavements including component materials, mix properties, mix design, manufacturing, storage and delivery, and sampling and testing. Recommendations for mineral fillers are included, as well as for asphalt spreading, compaction and finished surface properties. Appendices dealing with planning and mix design are also provided.
