Specifies the requirements of PVC compound (granules or powder) for use in the manufacture of plastics items intended for food contact applications. It prescribes the composition of the PVC compound, and requirements for the various additives used during its manufacture. Where necessary, limits are specified for the use of additives for certain food contact applications.
