​Describes procedures for protecting buildings from attack by subterranean termites, through chemical treatment of soil during construction of the building. Suitable chemicals are specified together with concentrations and rates of application. Methodology for achieving effective barriers is given and precautions are laid down for protection against personal contamination, both during and after application. A treatment certificate is specified for fixture to treated buildings.
