This Standard specifies requirements for flotation toys and swimming aids intended for use by children aged up to 15 years in recreational activities and to assist in swimming tuition. This Standard does not deal with buoyancy aids intended for lifesaving nor with buyancy aids specifically designed for therapeutic use by disabled persons.
