Specifies requirements for wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy extruded rod, bar, solid and hollow shape products for general engineering. Chemical composition and mechanical properties are specified, and allowable tolerances on dimensions included for rod, bar, solid shapes, and Class A, Class B and Class C hollow shapes. Appendices provide purchasing guidelines and examples illustrating the use of tolerance tables.
