AS 1790-1984

Specifies requirements for electroplated coatings of cadmium on iron or steel for protection against corrosion; it excludes threaded fasteners, coil springs and sheet, strip or wire in the unfabricated form. Provision is made for heat treatment for relief of stress and of hydrogen embrittlement.
