Sets out recommendations for minimum requirements for the installation of both fixed and sliding assemblies on prime movers for normal use. The recommendations cover fifth wheels with both small and large kingpins. Additional recommendations for the installation (for selected applications) of fifth wheel assemblies incorporating a turntable base are provided in an appendix.
