AS 1747-1975 sets out a recommended practice for the repair and testing of: (a) trailing cables used for underground coal mines, metalliferous mines, open cut mines, quarries and dredges; and (b) feeder cables used for underground coal mines; having insulations and sheaths of elastomer or PVC.
