It also sets out the requirements of Australian Standards which are generally applied by Australian statutory authorities in respect of the electrical equipment of industrial machines designed for connection to supply voltages not exceeding 1000 V. For this reason it is of particular interest to overseas industrial machine manufacturers who wish to market their products in Australia.
