AS 1182-1997

[Pending Revision]

Specifies a size designation and size coding scheme for ready-made garments based on actual body measurements over underclothing. Body measurements are specified for four sizes in infants' clothing, and for six sizes (2-7) with common measurements for boys and girls. Two additional body measurement tables are included, one for boys and one for girls for sizes 8 to 18. Two methods are given for labelling standard coded sizes, one of which uses the ISO pictogram. The Standard also specifies similar methods for labelling non-coded sizes.
