Outlines a selection of units taken from AS 1000, together with recommended multiples and sub-multiples, for use in Standards dealing with building and construction and for general use in documentation for the construction industry. Notation, and a wide range of typical applications are given. Two appendices are included, one giving recommendations for the layout of numbers and for the expression of dimensions on drawings, and the second giving an example of calculations in SI units.
