Methods for sampling and testing aggregates, Method 3.2: Sampling - Rock spalls and boulders

This Standard sets out requirements and methods for taking samples of aggregate larger than 63 mm nominal size, including gabion rock spalls, boulders and spalls taken for quarry assessment and preparation of reference specimens. The Standard includes requirements for packing and forwarding samples for examination and testing. Materials sampled in accordance with this Standard are generally crushed into aggregate pieces to be tested.
