Thimbles for use with wire rope or fibre (natural or synthetic) rope

Applies to small thimbles for use with rope of diameter less than 8 mm; ordinary thimbles and reeving thimbles for general engineering applications with rope of diameter 8 mm and larger; solid thimbles for use with rope of diameter 8 mm and larger. It specifies materials, dimensions and requirements of manufacture of thimbles and lists information to be supplied when ordering thimbles.
