Establishes uniform principles for the standardization of graphical symbols used on electrical and electronic appliances and equipment for informative purposes. A pictorial index of almost 200 symbols standardized internationally is included, as are alphabetical and numerical indexes. Some examples of symbols in single sheet size are included.
